Have a nice trip, see you next fall!

Orange, yellow, red, and brown. The colors of fall. Oh how I love it! The smell of the new freshly fallen leaves and the cool crisp air dewing the grass every morning, ahhhh can’t get any better than that. I may not be seven anymore, and my parents will not rake the leaves for me and my friends to jump in, but that doesn’t mean I can’t rake the leaves for me and my friends to jump in! I hate raking the leaves, but I love jumping in, it’s a lot of fun. I don’t like getting the leaves down my clothes either, because they are all dead and crumbly and they always seem to break apart in my clothes to make me really itch. I dislike it very much.
One of the main things I don’t like about fall is the insanely cold mornings. I hated mornings even in the summer, but cold mornings, man they really tick me off. I love sleep, and getting up out from under my three covers and sheets and nice comfy pj pants and sweatshirt, does not start me off to a good mood; my house is freezing!I hate the cold, that’s why when I move away I can guarantee it will be to somewhere to like, Florida; nice warm weather. Ahhhh I can feel the sun now soaking on my face.
Warm weather may be nice, but fall has amazing things that is big in my life, like Halloween! I love Halloween, and all the decorations and parties that go along with it. Going all out for Halloween is what I love doing, like my costume, how the outside of my house looks, how the inside of my house looks, even my friends and families costume, I would give them hints and pointers on how they can make their costume even more cuter, funnier, scarier, or just all around better.
But being outside, on a semi-warm afternoon, hanging out with friends around a bon fire in jeans and a sweat shirt, just talking and laughing and having a good ‘ol time, really makes me smile just thinking about it. Especially the roasting marshmallows part. Yummmmmm! I also really love the smell of a bon fire, it makes me think of outside, and enjoying the nice weather while we still have it and before the thick sheets of white frozen rain comes crashing down on my oh so fabulous dreams of clear skies and warm temperatures.

Halloween, Oh how i love the screams(:

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday; the costumes, the late nights with friends, and of course, the candy! Who wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to get some free candy and scare the pajeebers out of your little siblings or princess neighbors? I wouldn’t that’s for sure. My favorite candy probably is payday, or 3 musketeers. Yummy yum yummmm. Payday because I love anything with salt, it’s totally unhealthy but I really don’t give a crap, it’s good so I will eat it! And the 3 musketeers…. I mean come on I haven’t met someone yet who doesn’t like those things! But the most original Halloween candy would have to be the candy corn, the white yellow and orange triangles are addicting like no other, and with no shame I can say that I alone have finished off a good store bought bag of those. Man oh man was that a good lazy day.

This Halloween I am extremely excited because I have a simple yet amazing costume. I am being a kitty cat, my apparel; black t-shirt, black shorts, black tights, ugg boots, eyeliner whiskers, cheapo cat ears…. And cat eyes, yes that’s right. Cat. Eyes. I bought cat eye contacts from online(http://www.amazingeyez.com/CatShaped.html) and I am very pleased with how they turned out. When I wore them to school all my friends and teachers got a kick out of them, I loved seeing everyone’s reactions. I even got a couple screams, one including my Spanish teacher Ms.Wylie. Now to multiple people I am considered cat eyes, or crazy eyes, I find it kind of funny myself.

This Halloween weekend is bound to be a great one, my schedule is jam packed so I have no spare time at all, those kinds of things are very unpleasing to my mom, you know the one that has to drive me all these places. Today, Friday night, I am first going to the varsity game because yes thank god were in the playoffs. At half time I am going back with my friend Maria Riggi and we are going to be getting into our costumes (My kitty cat, and her cute bubble bee.) then heading down the street to our friend Paige’s house for her Halloween bash. Afterwards, going back to Marias for a slumber party! Joy! Early morning waking up to head out with my chica (Maria) for open gym, then her dad is taking us out for lunch because it’s her birthday. After we finish, heading to my place for yet again, ANOTHER PARTY! This one is my friend Jessie’s but she goes to Franklin, her parties are the best I’m tellin ya. And once again, heading to my house for, again, a slumber party, but possibly this time Kassidy, our other friend, may be coming over too. So my weekend is pretty busy as you can see. So Sunday, I plan on laundry, homework, and reruns of Halloween movies all, day, long.

Global Warming!

Global warming has been a problem around the world for many years now. The idea started a while back when scientist noticed that temperatures were rising, along with the water levels, and the ice caps were melting drastically causing the water levels to rise!

But the thing that everyone says the cause of it is the gases in the biosphere, that is piled on every day by cars exhaust and many human resources that we just can’t seem to stop doing. Many Americans today say that they want to stop global warming, and they want to start going green. But most Americans are the cause of global warming by releasing gases into the air just by living our daily lives; driving cars, pumping gas, and companies being waste less with gases they release. These gases are called green house gases, and they have raised so much in the past 650,000 years.
The “Green house effect” is when certain gases are trapped into the atmosphere and it traps the heat inside. What also happens is that the atmosphere lets in the light so it can reach the surface of the earth, but then when it reflects back, the heat can’t escape and its trapped inside to heat the earth up some more.Scientist have been studying this green house effect since 1824, because a scientist concluded that the earth would be much colder without an atmosphere, but the atmosphere its self is what makes the earth livable. Scientist have noticed in the past thousands of years we have been giving off more gases into the atmosphere there for raising temperatures because the gases, turned into heat, is being trapped inside.

Scientists have spent decades trying to figure out what has caused this global warm up, and the only possible conclusion is that we have caused it, by releasing greenhouse gases (GHGs). Some scientists get together every few years and track how far this has gone and they review how it could have happened. The most come from the combustion of fossil fuels in cars, factories, and electricity production. The most responsible is carbon dioxide, or CO2. Some of the effects from global warming are as follows; ice melting world wide, sea level rise become faster each year, some species of animals and insects are moving farther north or to higher cooler regions, and rain and snowfall has increased across the globe on average. Some things that could happen are; stronger and harder hurricanes and other storms, floods and droughts would be more common, and more diseases would spread like malaria.

cheerr((:

Cheerleading is my life. It’s been my life ever since I was in 4th grade and ever since then I have been an addict. When I say that cheerleading is my life I’m not being sarcastic or over estimating, I really do mean it’s my life, cheer practice is everyday but Friday through Sunday, and all the games we have every Thursday, are very exciting. Everybody comes to the games to cheer us on while we cheer the football players on. Even though our team isn’t that good we still give it our all every game.
Every practice we have, we work on our stunting, our jumps, our voices, our motions, splits and tumbling. Tumbling is my favorite, because I love tumbling. I just got my new skill recently and all I want to do is practice it nonstop! Even though it takes a lot out of us when we have a lot of conditioning I know it’s only better for us. Just to help us. Practice is always fun for me, everyone else would complain and say it’s too hard or they don’t want to be there, I always want to be there, improving is all I want to do. Being better at what I can be better at is all I want to do. My stunt group keeps on moving up on our goals; right now, we just got our basket toss, our lib switch foot, and our cubie full. That’s pretty good for freshmen, and me and one other girl both have our round off back hand spring back tuck solid, and varsity girls don’t even have that, so it’s pretty good.
I’m even more excited to start working on my layout soon. I’ve wanted to start working on it forever, like, two years. So I am very excited. My mom and I always make bets, she in a way, bribes me to reach for higher skills; if I get my layout solid, she will pay me $30.00. If I get my Arielle, she will pay me $25.00. And if I get my front walk over, she will pay me $10.00. So when I get a new skill I get even more excited about everything I do. The only reason my mom pays me to do it is because she wants me to get the skills like I was her when she was little. She says to me that she never had the opportunity so she wants to give it to me so I can have those amazing experiences of being able to do things no one else can on a normal bases.

first day(first draft)

You push, then get pushed yourself. You try and run ahead, all you get is yelled at and pushed right back to where you were again. So you have no other choice but to stand there and gladly wait your turn for your personal space back. It’s like trying to fit sumo wrestlers in a clown car! You can’t even take a deep breath without the person next to you thinking you tried to shove you way through. I finally understand what everyone means when they say “packed like sardines.” I’m also guessing it’s what my mom feels like in rush hour, but she has cars in between her and the person behind and in front of her. For me however, it’s person to person, body to body, and even stranger to stranger. But don’t take my word for it; I’m just explaining my feelings as everybody waits in the hallways to scurry like little mice around the school until finally emerging through the door of your next class. When you finally get out of the human traffic jam, you have that satisfying feeling of freedom. Not in an overly jumping up and down kind of way, but in a smile at yourself because the worst part is over kind of way. That’s what it feels like to have a steady path again and you can see the floor at least three feet in front of you. Now getting stuck in the hallway may be a bummer, but it’s just another part of high school, along with the devil in disguise teachers, the long nights of homework, and who could forget the kids who have a secret fear of being nice to others? But because of my amazing friends, my friendly and caring teachers, and full confidence in myself; I know I will be able to overcome this foggy path that is hard to get through but we’re all well up for the challenge.
